Class of 1959 Paducah High Graduate.

After graduating from the University of North Texas in May, 1963, I entered the U.S. Navy as a commissioned officer and served aboard USS Oglethorpe (AKA 100).  I completed four years active service and five years active reserve.

In 1971 I married Penny Tucker of California and we have two children, a married daughter, Karen of  Lubbock and an unmarried son, John of El Paso.  We have no grandchildren.

In  1978 I received a degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at El Paso. 

After leaving active military service I worked for Aetna until retiring in 1994.  I then worked for the Texas Department of Human Services until retiring again in 2002.

I have lived in El Paso county, Texas since 1969.
