Thad Murphy Bumpus

CHILDRESS - Thad Murphy Bumpus, 65, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006.

Graveside services weree at 2 p.m. today in Cee Vee Cemetery with the Rev. Harrold Moore officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home.

Thad. Bumpus was born Sept. 30, 1940, in Motley County and was a farmer. Thad, who loved to cowboy, never met a stranger and will be remembered as a kind and gentle man. Survivors include a brother, Jay Bumpus of Childress; and four sisters, Jane Timmons of Childress, Katie Hintergarth of Gruver, Billie Moore of Floydada and Linda Nauck of Columbia, S.C.
